You know, the den (where I am right now) is a great place to surf online, read the New York Times Arts Section or get the latest artNEWS from my favorite magazines.  I love art magazines and subscribe to several.  However, during bookstore visits, I often don't find many people looking at them, let alone buying them ... and I spend a good bit of time in bookstores.

So, in the interest of spreading art appreciation, here are a few of my favorites.  Oh, but first let me say that I think ARTnews is by far the best.  It's topical, relevant and most importantly, accessible to everyday people. 

Reading and learning about art on your own creates strong inner monologue that can lead to profound dialogue.  In any event, let's support these and other publications that are fighting to keep art talk alive ...
